How long will it take for my order to ship?

We do our best to process orders immediately and no later than 2–5 days once an order is received.

How long does it take for my order to arrive once shipped?

Shipping times vary depending on the method you choose at checkout. Estimated delivery dates will be displayed at checkout. Please note that the postal service can occasionally experience delays that are outside of our control.

Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

If a package is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided at checkout, you’ll be responsible for the cost of re-shipping once it’s returned to our shop.


International Orders

Yes! We offer international shipping. If your country isn’t listed at checkout, please visit our Etsy shop: thebooksistersshop.etsy.com.

Customs, VAT, and Import Taxes

  • EU & UK: We do not collect VAT at checkout. Your local postal service may charge VAT and/or a handling fee when your package arrives. This is required under EU/UK import rules.

  • Canada: We do not collect GST/HST at checkout. Canadian orders valued over CAD $20 are typically subject to GST/HST and a handling fee upon delivery.

  • Other countries: Import taxes and duties may apply depending on your location.

All products are manufactured in China and declared accordingly on customs forms. Buyers are responsible for any fees or duties charged by their country.

Shipping Times
International packages may take 2–4+ weeks to arrive, depending on your postal carrier and customs clearance.

We understand international shipping costs are high—we only charge what the carrier charges and always look for the lowest reliable rates.


 

Will my package have customs fees or tariffs?

Possibly. Buyers are responsible for any fees that may apply to their package. We cannot predict these charges or be held responsible for customs delays.

What do I do if I think my package is lost?

Sometimes USPS experiences delays. A package is not considered lost until 30 days after shipment. If your order hasn’t arrived after 30 days, please contact us at shopbooksisters@gmail.com and we’ll help look into it.

What if my package was marked “delivered” but I can’t find it?

This happens occasionally. Here are some steps that usually help:

  • Check around your home, porch, and mailbox area.

  • Ask members of your household or neighbors if they picked it up.

  • Speak directly with your mail carrier.

  • Contact your local USPS office with your tracking number. Their system has GPS delivery scans and can often confirm exactly where your package was left.


Cancellations

We cannot accept cancellations once an order has been processed. If you need to request a cancellation, please email shopbooksisters@gmail.com as soon as possible. See our Return Policy for details.

Where is The Book Sisters Shop located?

We’re based in New York, USA.

Orders are usually processed within 2–5 business days.

We offer 3 USPS shipping options for U.S. customers:

  • Media Mail: 2–8 days

  • Ground Advantage: 2–5 days

  • Priority Mail: 1–3 days

Once packages leave our shop, we are not responsible for shipping delays.
